Kristen Lunde is a Director in ATI’s Medicare innovation practice.
Before joining ATI, Lunde served as Health Policy Advisor for the Senate Finance Committee. In this role, she led the legislative portfolio and served as a technical expert on hospital, post-acute, and hospice care under Medicare Part A as well as rural health, health workforce, and health innovation issues. During her time with the committee, Lunde was involved in major legislative efforts, including the CARES Act, the American Rescue Plan, and multiple year-end bills advancing Medicare and elder justice priorities. Prior to this, she was a David A. Winston Health Policy Fellow. Kristen also has experience in performance improvement consulting, insurance benefit design, and public health program implementation.
Kristen Lunde has a Master of Public Health degree from the University of Michigan and a bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
